CEO and Lead Inventor
Richard Parker has 30+ years bringing the most innovative medical devices to market. Now, as CEO and Lead Inventor for Peachtree Medical Products, Richard is able to use that experience to bring truly innovative solutions to hospitals, surgical centers and patients dealing with VTE events, and other circulatory challenges.
Previous to founding and launching Peachtree Medical Products, Richard led Midwest Medical Enterprises, an industry leader in providing Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Devices (IPCD’s) in the facility & home setting for the prevention of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), which accounts for 2 million DVT’s each year in the U.S. yielding 300 thousand deaths.
Richard is a regular featured speaker and advocate on prevention of VTE’s and the vital role that IPCD’s will play in improving patient outcomes. Richard passionately believes in the mission of Peachtree Medical Products: to develop advanced, user-friendly, compliance-facilitating products that will bring the incidence of preventable VTEs down to zero.
